Tampa Bay Lightning | Hockey Development Programs

The Tampa Bay Lightning is excited to welcome back our Learn to Skate program at the Lightning Made Training Center for a Winter season!

 

Lightning Made Training Center is located at 6910 Asphalt Ave. Unit B Tampa, FL 33614. 

 

The Tampa Bay Lightning Learn to Skate is a beginner program for kids who are just learning how to skate for the first time. This program is 6 weeks and is for all children ages 3-8 years old. This program will take place on **Synthetic ice**. It is a great way to get new skaters to understand the feel of skating with out being on the ice! 

 

The Learn to Skate program is taught by Lightning staff and consists of 45 minuets of skating drills and various games that teach them the fundamentals of skating.

 

The program runs for 6 weeks and starts on Saturday, April 15thThis program is for children just learning to skate, ages 3-8 years old! 

 

Dates (Saturdays):

• April 15th
• April 22nd
• April 29th
• May 6th
• May 13th
• May 20th

 

Times:

• 8:45 - 9:30am (3-4 years old)
• 9:45 - 10:30am (5-6 years old)
• 10:45 - 11:30am (7-8 years old) 

 

Cost:

• $110

 

Rental skates will be provided. Helmets will need to be worn while skating. No other equipment is necessary but elbow and knee pads are recommended!
