Tampa Bay Lightning | Hockey Development Programs

The Tampa Bay Lightning is excited to launch our fifth session of Girls Only Learn to Skate! The Learn to Skate will take place at PowerPole Arena, Home of Xtra ice which is located at 6910 Asphalt Ave., Tampa, FL 33614. 

The Lightning Learn to Skate is a beginner program for youth hockey players who are just learning how to skate for the first time. This program is 8 weeks and is for all children ages 4-10 years old. It is a great way to get new hockey players the feel of skating!

Lightning Learn to skate is taught by Lightning staff and consists of 50 minutes of skating drills and games.

The program runs for 8 weeks and starts on Sunday, March 26th. This program is for children just learning to skate, ages 4-10 years old! 

Dates (Sundays):

• April 2nd
• April 16th
• April 23rd
• April 30th
• May 7th
• May 21st
• June 4th

Time: 1:10pm - 2:00pm

Cost: $125

Rental skates will be provided! Please bring your own helmet (bike helmet is ok) If you don't have your own helmet, we will provide you with one.
